If you’re an existing Coventry Building Society savings customer, our free-to-use mobile banking app is the simple and secure way to manage your money on the go. Download it today and get an instant view of your accounts, rates & transactions, open new accounts and set up payments, all in a few taps.

It’s quick and easy to get started…

Just download the app, register and log in securely using biometric (face ID or fingerprint), or your preferred method, and you’ll be all set for easier personal banking.

The app’s main features:

View accounts:
If you like to feel in control of your finances, our app is made for you. You’ll find your savings accounts and balances, as well as their current interest rates, so you can see at a glance how your money is growing. And you can look back at up to five years of transactions and check on the progress of any pending payments due to leave your account.

Payments and transfers:
You can use the app to make payments from your savings into your nominated Named Bank Account, with funds arriving by the next working day. Transfers to your other Coventry Building Society accounts are immediate.

Apply for a Savings Account:
Browse and apply for additional Savings Accounts directly in the App within a few short steps. Whatever your savings goals - we’ll help you reach them. From regular savers to fixed term bonds and ISAs, supported by our award-winning service, we’re here for you every step of the way.

Help and feedback:
There’s a handy help section, so you can get support from us if you need it. Here, you can also tell us what you think about the app, including what features you’d like to see in the app in the future.

Settings:
You can even customise the app to light or dark mode, update your security settings, and view your personal details.

Not a bad App really. One observation - if you're looking at a particular account and want to make a payment from it, why do you then have to find the account again on the accounts drop-down, why doesn't it automatically pay from that account. You basically have to make a note of the account number and go back in to make the payment

Similar to another reviewer, when I had to update the app it would not accept my details and I ended up needing to ring the helpline to reset the whole online account. Which meant going back to the beginning with evidence of passport or driving licence and changing all the log ins that I've used for years on the online account version. I've now uninstalled the app, as it has never been as user friendly as the other banking apps I use - and the other apps all updated with no issues whatsoever.

I recently purchased a new device, and I cannot log into the app as it results in a 'our app is having technical difficulties, please try again later' error message. It worked flawlessly on my old device. [redacted due to character limit]. UPDATE July 2025: For anyone facing a similar issue, as alluded to in the response, you need to deregister the old device via settings menu (luckily I hadn't yet traded it in, so I didn't have to contact support). All issues resolved, and 5* rating awarded.
