It’s time to reimagine an old favorite and try a new way to play with crossword puzzles, by thinking outside the box! Welcome to Random Logic’s modern twist on a beloved classic game. Crossword Quiz is a fun, unique, free, puzzle crossbreed of several classic word games. Based on 3 types of clues, (📓 word descriptions, 😂 emoji combinations, and 📷 photos), there are multiple ways to approach getting clues and completing the crossword puzzle!

Crossword puzzles have been around for ages. It’s a classic word game that challenges your vocabulary and is a powerful tool for learning. Of course you’ve seen all the normal free crossword puzzles for your phone, they’re similar to what you grew up with either in the Sunday newspaper or puzzle books; but do you want the same old thing all the time?

In Crossword Quiz we challenge you to put your visual, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills to the test in this uniquely crafted Crossword Puzzle extravaganza!

Nervous about trying something new? Don’t be! You're not learning a new game, only expanding how you play it! Crossword Quiz is a word game that will give you endless hours of almost unlimited entertainment! We even help you collect coins along the way that you can use for different hints to help ease you into the game, or to save them for harder categories. So if you find yourself stuck on a crossword? Don’t give up just yet! Use the coins you’ve earned to get you back on track with hints by selecting to expose a letter, remove unused letters, or to totally solve the puzzle!
Do your best to save your coins to buy hints for more challenging crossword puzzle questions and for unlocking new categories (coins can also be purchased in-game).

🔦 EXPOSE A LETTER
Reveal a single letter of a phrase. This is the perfect hint to use when the answer to that crossword puzzle question is on the very tip of your tongue but need just a little help to complete that line. (We even give you the option for how much of a "nudge" you want with your crossword puzzle hints!)

❌ REMOVE THE LETTERS
Remove all letters from the letter bank that are not part of the answer. This hint is perfect for when you need a bump in the right direction to finish out the crossword puzzle!

✅ SOLVE IT
Having a total blank-out? No worries! It happens with all word games. Simply select this hint option and you will be able to move past it and go on with your crossword game!

Really fun game to play, lots of different categories to chose from. The thing that really lets this game down though is the near constant ads popping up. In ten minutes of gameplay, I must have seen an ad almost every 20 seconds. It makes the game pretty much unplayable and I won't be going back to it unless things really change.

Having unskippable ads is bad enough, but they're not just between levels! They hit twice during levels as well, throwing you out of the game and totally ruining the experience. If you must have adverts interrupting levels, at least make it so we can skip them. If you can only give us full 30 second adverts, put them between levels. Right now I can't play this, and I'm uninstalling it.

I'm tempted to give it only 1 star. I've given it two because the actual game is a lot of fun and well balanced. Shame you can never see it cos there's an ad pop up at the bottom and solving a line brings a full page ad up. That if you cross off takes you to that ads page. And when you click out of that, another ad pops up. Which also takes you to its page when you cross it off. And by the time you've gotten back to the game's app it's crashed and you have to cancel out of it and start allover.
