Ratings and reviews

I was worried when I already bought the French version of the book and then saw the app got such bad ratings but as of Nov 2024 the app works as intended. It's very well organized to match with the different book sections and has the option of playing all the phrases or words in order or you can click them one by one so you can listen to the same word of phrase multiple times. So far I haven't had any problems with it (at least the French version).

Pressing back button closes the app and it forgets where it was. Can't skip back/forward in the sounds where it goes through a bunch of words/sentences. Help page says you can but I wasn't able to tap a word/sentence to play it and instead had to wait until the recording got there. It only plays the Chinese, not the meaning in English, so you can't learn while doing dishes, driving or jogging. Can't mark a items as difficult. No flashcard/test system for difficult parts.

This app would be really useful if it worked as it should. Restarting the phrases doesn't work properly, they either start second one in or they start from the very last phrase and continue from there, still missing the first phrase. You can't play a phrase on its own, you have to go through the entire list, which sucks especially since you have to go back to the menu to get it to replay properly. Plus the pause button doesn't even work, press it and the list keeps going. Please act on these
