About this app

Daily Defects is an app for all UK truck, coach, lorry, HGV or other heavy vehicle drivers to assist in keeping a record of your daily vehicle inspection as required by VOSA.

At the start of your day, this app provides a quick and easy way to input a check of all inspection points. If one is defective you can record the severity of the defect and other details, including a photograph if required.

All defect reports can be shared out of the app as printable PDF documents -- ready for delivery to your transport manager, or just to keep saved as a long-term backup for your own protection.

Checklists are included to match the standard VOSA goods and passenger vehicle inspection points. Completely custom checklists can also be created for yourself to match the requirements of your agency.

This app is completely free, however it will display a popup ad for my other app from time to time.

Ratings and reviews

Same, unable to get app to send reports, obviously an issue and no developer to answer or investigate the issue, would happily use a paid version but as no response from the developers would be a definite no to that, my guess is the app just isn't as great as we all thought it to be.

Was a great free app. But now I'm unable to send reports. I created a group for my drivers to send over reports which they all do fine apart from myself and one other driver. It creates PDF then once I press send it says "unable to send" I've also uninstall and reinstalled but still having same issue. It was 5 stars before this. Such a shame.

Continues to crash after taking a photo. . App can't be used. Can't export my circle check profile as to save it and reinstall it. .. disappointed to say the least. Please advise where I can access the profile and back it up. Now 2021 and app continues to keep crashing and used different phone models. Used to be good.. now useless.
