Ratings and reviews

The actual fish finder is great! But frankly, the lack of any detail in the map I tried creating at a favorite fishing spot was rather disappointing. I guess it's possible that it only shows depths in large increments. So maybe a sudden drop off in depth of only 5 feet just doesn't show up. Idk. But it seems like that's info woth showing, and as an angler, worth knowing about.

I was really happy to find out that there were portable sonar/fish finders for people like me who fish off the shore. I bought a deeper smart(the basic, entry level one), downloaded this app and have been using it since then. I think the app is awesome and has alot of features even for the entry level sonar. I really like that it records and stores from the time it touches the water(with the app open and connected of course)until you disconnect from its wifi. I've had no issues with the app yet!

The map in boat mode is extremely difficult to read now. Especially during the day due to the contrast of the light blue water and light tan for land. If you're in uncharted Waters it's extremely hard to see. You're now have to pay annual in app fees. This product is perfect for kayak/canoe fishing. I highly recommend not casting this out into the water. It's heavy and your line could snap. Overall this product has Great potential. I used my pro+ all the time till the battery depleted.

Real-time 3D mapping. Reveal the lake bottom and hidden details in 3D.

Sonar marks. Long-tap scan readings to mark your sonar’s exact location on the map during that part of the scan. Works with past scans and Deeper sonars, too!

Home point edit. You can change the home point after Quest auto-sets it in water, just not during a mission.

Autopilot speed fix. Better boat speed in Autopilot missions and the option to hide movement path on the map.
