Visibility of vessels in the App depends on AIS signal availability. If a particular vessel is out of our AIS coverage zone, VesselFinder displays her last reported position and updates it as soon as the vessel comes into range. Completeness and accuracy of the information provided cannot be guaranteed.

I've been using the app for several years without issue. This week for the past couple of days it doesn't even load, sits on the load screen and does nothing. then after 5 minutes or so it says the service is unavailable, due to maintenance downtime or capacity issue. refreshing does nothing. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, same thing, then I tried to load the address the app said to contact before leaving a review, and that fails as well.

**update** The developer did respond, and I simply had to uninstall and reinstall the app to restore functionality of the distance measuring tool, so back to five stars! Definitely my favorite of the vessel tracking apps ---------------------- The distance measuring tool is broken on the latest update, it used to work a few weeks ago. Informed the developers but they haven't responded

I did not find a way to share the App, other than type and send a friend. A quick share icon would be nice, unless I missed it.🤔
