Product left my hair even more dry and unmanageable than it was with an additional issue of being very greasy and waxy. When I reached out to the team about this, their solution to this was to simply use twice as much product as I had been (i.e. give us more money). When I tried to leave the product behind, I found all I could do was pause my subscription - I could not find any way to delete my account or unsubscribe from email (I ended up blocking the sender). Do not waste your time or money.

This is a review over the product; overall, it did exactly what I wanted, but! It left a very, very waxy stiffness residue in my hair. After the first couple washed, I convinced myself I wasn't fully washing it out. I have beach wavy hair that used to be slightly curly but isn't anymore due to heat and chemical damage. My hair after the first wash looked exactly what I've been trying to get my hair back to. I just can't get past the residue. Good product, just not exactly what I was looking for.

This is a review for the product, not the app (the app functions fine, no complaints). I wanted to know what all the buzz is about with these "custom" shampoos/conditioners. It is NOT worth your money. I used them for about 6 months. The formulas were inconsistent, greasy, and left residue on my shower floor. They also gave me dandruff which I've never,ever had issues with before. I feel like they barely altered my formula after my feedback and had to complain when the shampoo was watery.
