Ratings and reviews

The app has two fatal flaws. It doesn't work with the camera even with full permissions, which means I cannot use the Hestia telescope. Also, when going to the Catalogue, selecting "observe" on a particular celestial body / event, the "observe" button changes to "observing" but doesn't actually bring up the data / guidance. Completely unusable.

Struggling to use it without the compass/location tool, which was advertised originally. You have to guess that you are lined up when taking photos in deep sky. This causes it to take forever to detect anything, which then causes the image stacking to just not work. It does say BETA on the app whereas others have said they have the compass and it doesn't say BETA?! Gutted after waiting a year for this.

TL;DR Make sure the Gravity works before you buy Hestia, if it doesn't find something else. I loved this until the app broke. Unless Vaonis can fix this app the telescope is a useless product. The whole point of this app is the camera feature and that doesn't work. If they can get that working again then I would change my review. As one that was part of the Kickstarter I was excited but have been let down. It has potential but they need to fix the core parts before adding more features.
