Justin's video's were really good. the learning app for playing along with songs was more a basic yousician/guitar hero version. Sounds on those weren't good and put me off playing with it. but that's down to personal choice. but I didn't (and won't ) re-subscribe and that should say enough. bit of a let down really. but if your happy with 25-30 (personal music tastes) videos that are well made and good in my opinion, then join.

Great app, rammed with concise yet detailed lessons and exercises to teach you the most popular chords, but few riffs and licks. After barely two weeks of use and having had previous attempts at learning guitar, I've already managed to speed up my chord changes. The app is slightly prone to crashing (on my 3 yo mobile) when using the microphone, but with an extensive song library to learn from along the way + subscription fee well under £10pm, it's a steal. Forget swiping, and get strumming!

I think Justin has an excellent teaching style which makes you want to practice. He constantly reminds you that making mistakes is only human and that you shouldn't expect to be able to play stuff that takes weeks or months to learn only a few days/weeks into the course. I have just finished Module 1 after two weeks, doing 20 mins a day, 5 days in 7. I'm nearly at the stage where my fingertips aren't hurting, so my practice sessions will soon be more enjoyable. I definitely recommend this app.
