Loopa is an audio looper mainly for guitars but also for any other instrument. It is desinged to jam with yourself and sharpen your guitar skills.

How to use Loopa
◈ Record and Loop
- Press the big button once to start recording.
- Press it again to stop recording and start looping.
- Press it once more to pause the looping.
- Press it for 2 seconds to delete the recording
◈ 4 Loops at once
- Record up to 4 loops by pressing the LOOP_1 button and choosing a loop from 1 to 4.
- To record more than one loop make sure you are using HEADPHONES to prevent the phone from recording itself!
◈ Adjust your loops
1) Make your loop last shorter or longer using LOOP DELAY
eg.1 LOOP DELAY 1000 means the loop will end 1 second earlier
eg.2 LOOP DELAY -2000 means the loop will end 2 seconds later

Ratings and reviews

Loved the app, it really helps to get started with loop pedal without buying expensive pedals. Anyone who wants buy a looper should first try this app before wasting hundereds of dollars just so you can understand how it actually works. It really works great for practicing on spare time. Absolutely enjoying the app. Edit : Can you add overdub function on the same track like actual looper pedal would do?

This would be a pretty good app if not for one huge problem. To start recording you have to tap your phone with your hand. (I tried using my foot, it didn't work). This creates a delay between the time you tap and start playing. Then there's another delay when you stop playing and tap again to stop the recording. These delays add up to create a really annoying gap between loops and I could find no way around this. It needs a crop feature where you can cut out the unusable ends.

Great start to a functional program- would love to see a countdown after hitting record before recording starts, and the ability to trim a recording so that the half second between playing and being able to stop recording isn't in the loop.
