Ratings and reviews

Lately I've been experiencing crackles/pops when lowering an individual sample's volume, like the knob is crossfading into static. Depending on the sample, it will appear even at default level. Also I never thought to write a review because I'm that satisfied with the app experience. Edit: I think it's a bluetooth issue. It occurs while using wireless headphones. The developer has bern super responsive with tracking down these issues 👍

A truly wonderful application inspired by classic hardware samplers. Loading and editing samples is very intuitive and easy, sequencing takes some learning but it also incredibly powerful. The app also runs so smoothly and the MIDI functionality is really fun to work with if you have an external controller. Considering that hardware samplers cost an order of magnitude more, this app is an incredible value even with the additional add-ons. I am also glad that theyre all one-time purchases 🙏

Koala is an intuitive sampler that is absolutely feature packed. It's features rival - or even exceed - many hardware samplers. Its workflow is smooth, fast, and trimmed of fat. For the price it is an incredible bargain. New features are always added, and the developer clearly loves and understands the domain. Would highly recommend to both new and experienced beat makers alike.
