About this app

MG Flasher is a mobile App to tune your BMW equipped with an MG1 ECU and B46, B48 or B58 engine by OBD using ENET Wi-Fi. Flashing time on ENET is only 15 - 20 seconds! Disclaimer: For off-road use only.
*Initial flash/ECU unlock with ENET Wifi will take approximately 4 - 6 minutes.

Flashing your BMW with MG Flasher opens unique functions:
• Switchable Maps On-The-Fly - WORLD'S FIRST SOLUTION FOR BMW B58/B48 - through a simple combination of cruise control buttons you can quickly select between mapping, without the need to reflash vehicle! Gen 2 switchable maps, including all ethanol maps are under development.
• Dynamic Exhaust Burble On-The-Fly - via a simple combination of cruise control buttons you can change the intensity of the burbles whenever you like! MG Flasher offers Gen 2 adjustable options during flash; On-The-Fly features for Gen2 are under development.
• Max Cooling On-The-Fly - With a simple cruise control button combination sequence, you can enable the option without reflashing the car! Gen 2 adjustable options during flash; On-The-Fly features for Gen2 are under development.
• Torque Limit Adjustability - TCU 8HP Limiter Lifted for all platforms! Software calibration without the need for any transmission tuning or skewing the torque/load calculation model maps. This allows for accurate calculations, smooth shifting and no software trickery.
• Speed Limit Removal, Startup Roar, Torque by Gear Limiter on select software
• Ethanol Blends are built into our OTS maps and available using Switchable Maps (on select vehicles only)
• Sport Gauges (HP and TQ) adjustable by user!
• OTS maps prepared by MG Flasher tuners
• Custom maps flashing – flash custom maps prepared by us or other tuners/users
• Logger - log real time data and plot it into graphs for troubleshooting and optimizing

They don't bother replying to your emails for over 15 days. Multiple emails sent but no response. Their tune caused the car's gearbox to jerk like it will fall off the car. Flashed the car back to stock and asked them for a refund. But it's been over 3 months and there is no refund and they reply to your mails once a month.

Awful support. When I first bought the app + tune I was told to use an ENET cable. I tried for weeks with support to get the ENET cable to work but unfortunately android doesn't support static IP setting (which is required). Support advised me to buy another OBD - USB cable ($50) and it worked! Fast forward to a couple of months ago when the app was updated and guess what?? They cancelled support for the OBD - USB cable, and you can only use ENET. Which doesn't work on my Pixel. I've submitted requests but the developers haven't responded. Waste of hundreds of dollars.

No support. I messaged the team almost 24 hours ago and there's nobody to get a hold of. Quick to take my money through the MG Flasher store and followed all directions on their website. Have used several other applications that perform the same task and never ran into an issue like this.. at least there was someone that I could talk to to help me fix the issue..
