A couple hours after installing MakesYouFluent, I did not feel that it would be useful for me. I immediately requested a refund, but was denied for policy reasons. Their response was that they wouldn't further charge me at the end of my current subscription. If there would have been a brief try before buying, even s 24-hour trial, then I wouldn't be out money for an app that I felt wasn't useful for me.

Horrible company, zero ethics , I subscribed for 6 months but didn't like the app and didn't use it, but they have been taking subscription fee from me for the past year. No receipts or emails! Ethical businesses send you an email reminder of your upcoming payment. There is no way to cancel through the app, you have to email them and when I did and explained the situation they tried to convince me to stay although I haven't used it in over a year. They cancelled but refused a refund. Stay away!

This is 100% fraud! The advertisement in Youtube is fake. In reality it is a robotic voice with a face that moves the lips on the back completely out of sync. Some functions in the app do not even work. Beware, they did not want to refund me, just offered "30% refund as a gesture of good will", then "it is against our policies to refund more than 50%". And today, a few days after I had paid for a 6 months subscription, they tried to charge me again!! Luckily I had them blocked in the bank.
