honestly, this is one of the worst language apps that I've ever used. I'm not a huge fan of Duolingo, but at least I learned a little. MakesYouFluent only makes you frustrated that you spent money for a program that doesn't have a free version or a free trial period. The AI is terrible, the lessons don't even prod you to learn, and gives you the answers without requiring thinking... There's all kinds of "add ons" that you pay extra for, and it's basically just a vocabulary list.

A couple hours after installing MakesYouFluent, I did not feel that it would be useful for me. I immediately requested a refund, but was denied for policy reasons. Their response was that they wouldn't further charge me at the end of my current subscription. If there would have been a brief try before buying, even s 24-hour trial, then I wouldn't be out money for an app that I felt wasn't useful for me.

waste of money. The extra "features" with ai doesn't work. The pronunciation doesn't work. The chat bot speaks right over you while you start to say a word. The ratings on pronunciation are nonsensical. I complained to the app but they told me "too bad" essentially. I wanted a refund after a week and they didn't care. if you are in US, you can get all of these things through a public library for free.
