If you are someone who needs a little help from customer support due to a medical problem, good luck! I received a notification saying my payment wouldn't go through. I tried to fix it but needed assistance. I emailed and asked for some help. Nothing but repeated, "we are canceling!" emails. I emailed three times. Nobody! And I was canceled. Meetup has an ableism problem.

8/16/2024: user messaging spam increasing and reporting spam is broken. 8/16/2024: Push and email seems to be working better but still some unwanted/useless notifications without ability to determine what setting would disable. For a while push and email notifications where abusively too many. Trying to reduce to useful ones seems to have stopped all of both and nothing seems to be able to bring them back.

I'm just having a hard time finding certain things in a certain place. it's always setting my location as somewhere 500+ miles away every time, the events have nothing to do with what I'm looking for and overall the app feels meh. not bad enough to uninstall but it could use some work.
