Ratings and reviews

It's a shame. The game is great, but very often it interrupts you with a prompt about a local or a cloud based previously saved game, over and over again. it goes away if you put the phone in airplay mode, but that's annoying. Multiple uninstall and reinstalls have failed to fix it. and most recently, it now just brings up a prompt box that you can not get away from making you quit the game you were playing and then dumping you back into it but earlier on??!! I've given up now.

Good game although a couple of issues: 1. When long-pressing an empty square, it's too easy for it not to register and set off a mine. To prevent this, it would be good if there was an option to long press an empty square in flag mode so that it revealed a number (if one is there) as, with chording engaged, the frequency of hitting an empty square to reveal a number is far less than hitting one to set a flag. 2. The option to turn off vibration does not work properly.

Update: If you get very deep into the game, suddenly 4s make an appearance. This brings the best part of the classic into play - the jeopardy of a calculated guess. Who knows, maybe waaayyy down 7s make an appearance! Bringing back the classics with a twist! The original windows pc game was an absolute obsession for those of certain generations.The graphical change in this edition is a great enhancement, the 3 stars is only because I would like more of a challenge than 1s, 2s and 3s.
