The my baby and me application is a mobile application that aims to provide pregnant or breastfeeding women with simple, clear and correct information on maternal and neonatal health, including a section on COVID-19.
. This platform provides several communication media, namely text, images, audio files and videos, in order to reach all pregnant or breastfeeding women, even those who are not literate and who constitute the majority of them in rural areas.
The app, aimed primarily at women, but also at their husbands, other family members, and community members, provides correct information on:
- The course of pregnancy and the key actions to stay healthy during the pre, peri and postnatal period;
- The importance of going to the health center at the right time for a delivery in good conditions or in case of emergencies, and of being prepared for the procedures of care during the delivery for the mother and the baby ;
- The postpartum period and what to expect during this time of discovery for mom and family.
- COVID-19 prevention measures during pregnancy / childbirth / postnatal period.
