New Moon Finder is a utility to assist in finding the new moon in the beginning of every Lunar month. Seeing the new moon is hard since the moon is tiny and dim, unnoticeable from the sky background. The application calculates the moon location and guide you to the correct place in the sky.

Note:
For accurate results you need to calibrate your compass
To do this you need to rotate the device in the number 8 shape

OK, after one star and negative remarks, the Developer have taken very responsive action, which is surprising, as no one would have taken prompt action to correct the app. I am more than pleased with the app, as now, after updating, it points exactly at the moon when you hold mobile at the eye level. With digital display, it points accurately at the direction of moon when it's latitude and longitude are correct. Heads up to this app it's very useful app in my opinion.

So far the best moon finder application I found. Simple to operate and guides us easily to the approx. location of the moon.

I've NEVER rated any of the thousands of app's over the years I've used; till now! Download this app you will not be disappointed. Thank you for taking the time to make and share a decent app that's worth my time using.
