NWMFire is an exclusive app for employees of NationWide Mechanical INC, a fire protection company in inspections, installations, and maintenance of fire equipment. This app was developed to optimize the employees' daily routines by offering an integrated and efficient solution for managing field activities. Below are some of the application's main features:
- Clock-in and Clock-out: Accurately record your check-ins and check-outs. NWMFire uses the user's location to ensure that time logs are recorded at the correct site.
- Project Details: View detailed information about each project, including customer information, project address, and some customer contacts.
- Material Requests: If you are in the field and need additional materials, make the request directly through the app, speeding up the process and ensuring nothing is missing for the job's completion.
- User Profile: Keep your profile updated and record your daily activities at the end of the day after clocking out.
- Maintenance Requests: Field employees can log maintenance requests for damaged materials or tools, sending notifications to administrators on the web system who will take the necessary actions.
- Access Profiles: The platform features various access profiles. Besides the administrator, there are Project Manager, Field Supervisor, and regular employee profiles. The latter three work in the field, performing their respective tasks to contribute to the project's progress.
NWMFire communicates directly with the project's web system. On the web platform, administrators can register, edit, or delete users, clients, projects, materials, and tools. Categories (activities/tasks) are also registered in the web system and later used in the app for employees to select the tasks they performed during their working hours. Various types of reports can be viewed, such as the time worked by each employee.
