This is a great way to find cheap storage in your area. I've had great experiences with every host ive met on neighbor, but i have some reservations about Neighbors business practices. They are not upfront about contingencies assiciated with first month discounts. most if the time, those are only granted if you stay for at least 3 months. You have to look very closely at the fine print to see this. Secondly, you MUST cancel manually. It is easy to forget and it is very hard to get a refund.

This app is full of scammers and the company provides little support. I reserved a parking space and when I showed up, they told me they didn't have any spaces available. I asked for a refund, they told me I needed to request that through neighbor. It's not easy to do. Their call center doesn't seem to be staffed and when you e-mail, they auto-respond that due to staff shortages it will take them longer than normal to respond. Very Sketchy.

I'm sure some people have good luck... I didn't. Every person who reached out except maybe one was a scammer. I reported every single one of them and they are still all on the app. Even had a reservation for today... Like clock work cancelled. Clean up the rif raf and you got something... That and you have to create an account with some strange payment app that has terrible reviews... Not worth it.
