I like the potential this app has, but its search is snail speed, most of the books are unavailable (not their fault) but I still dont want to be able to search them and my previous lists made on the webpage did not transfer over to the mobile app. Which means I have to find and add each and every one Ive added over the years. I like it, and I think once it improves a few things, it'll be unstoppable.

I really enjoy Open Library but this is just the website pretending to be an app. This is why for some people it's slow and unreliable is because it adds the extra layer of an unnecessary process. If you want to prove this for yourself: open this app & take note of the theme (light, dark, etc), then open your browser to change the theme there, eventually Open Library will change to reflect the new browser theme. š«¤

OL is great and terrible at the same time. you can find old books, one million I suppose, out of print and so forth, but to listen to audio, its that horrid computer voice. I dont find the script to be phone friendly either. perhaps on pc. Id donate if they can update the voices, with perhaps advanced AI? ALSO, I have to have my phone plugged in, or the audiobook cuts off. I do appreciate OL tho, im sure it took work to get all these books online.
