I like the potential this app has, but its search is snail speed, most of the books are unavailable (not their fault) but I still dont want to be able to search them and my previous lists made on the webpage did not transfer over to the mobile app. Which means I have to find and add each and every one Ive added over the years. I like it, and I think once it improves a few things, it'll be unstoppable.

I really enjoy Open Library but this is just the website pretending to be an app. This is why for some people it's slow and unreliable is because it adds the extra layer of an unnecessary process. If you want to prove this for yourself: open this app & take note of the theme (light, dark, etc), then open your browser to change the theme there, eventually Open Library will change to reflect the new browser theme. 🫤

Entirely nonfunctional. Just about every part of the app is almost nonfunctional, from the log in, to the search, to the simple loading of books. If by some miracle the app doesn't completely shut down for you when getting through the above, or randomly kicks you from your account, and you can finally read a book you'll then find it will refuse to load anymore pages after only 1 or 2. Doesn't matter if you try and return the book and loan it out again or anything.
