Great - legit free - scanning app. Definitely don't mind ads to do the small amount of scanning I need. Printer/scanner just can't be counted on and definitely don't want to give my card info for a "free trial" I can "cancel anytime" - been caught in that trap too many times! This is great - you can get higher functions for money but can do the basics for free with a couple ads and no card info.

Best PDF scanner out of the bunch. Other than the ads, I don't have to pay for anything. I can convert my PDFs to JPG and vice versa easily, view my documents on it and the scanner allows me to choose my required color tone without paying anything (whiles some people have some locked in premium). Everything is so simple. If I also want to stop the ads from popping up, all I have to do is go offline and it works perfectly.

I've never had a scanner app that actually makes pictures worse, as in illegible, and that's using the recommended adjustments. Crop feature is also jumpy and not "smart," making it difficult to get right. Finally, there are just too many pop-up ads that make you wait a few seconds before you can continue. I guess banner ads don't pay enough...
