Quick pdf scanner app Use this app a lot. Love it. But since yesterday it has stopped working. Please fix problem.
No customer service Works well enough for a free app. But if you get prompted to upgrade for half price within the app, do not bother. I was charged and given a receipt from Google play but PDF Pro was never loaded onto my device. PDF Pro is still showing at full price in Google play and I have reported this several times to mobisystems with no response. Maybe now they'll pay attention?
Gaming the review system - at some point this app will ask you to rate it. If you rate it highly, it will ask you to write a Google review. If you don't rate it highly, it doesn't ask you to review it on Google. Therefore, there is a massive bias towards positive reviews for this app. I wish companies would act with more integrity, especially when I'm trusting them to have their software installed on my device. As for the app itself, I was hoping this would be the Android equivalent of the freely available 'Not Another PDF Scanner' for Windows which OCRs the text. I was even going to buy this app. Unfortunately, when the OCR function is engaged, it takes ages and ages and then crashes.
Inquiries Why is it that the Pro version in the Play store is cheaper than the in-app purchase? What is the difference since both will have a pro once purchased?
Lots of Additional Installs Needed Not a Plug and Play app. Every time I want to do something on this app I am prompted to install yet another program. Seems like layers and layers of stuff I don't really want.
