About this app

Parents Gateway is an initiative by MOE to enable parents with Singpass to interact with schools more conveniently on administrative matters. Parents will also be able to use this app to stay updated on school’s programme and activities.

The mobile app is currently only available for mainstream MOE Kindergartens, Primary schools, Secondary schools and Junior Colleges/Centralised Institute.

We appreciate if you can share with us your feedback to help MOE enhance and improve the experience, benefiting more parents in future.

[Known Issues]
- Samsung S7 on Android 6 and 7 is known to have compatibility issues. To use Parents Gateway, please upgrade to Android 8

- Enhanced security measures have been put in place for rooted devices. The security measures is known to block apps such as Lucky Patcher and Rom Manager.
Uninstalling these apps will enable you to use the Parents Gateway app.

- No or inconsistent notifications received by Oppo and Huawei devices. This is due to battery optimisation configurations set by manufacturer.

[Note]
- If you choose to log out of Parents Gateway, you will stop receiving notifications for new announcements and consent forms until your next log-in.

- The Parents Gateway app uses Singpass to identify parents of students in MOE schools. Singpass is only used to identify and authenticate the parent. The Singpass ID and the password will not be stored in the app. Upon successful authentication, the connection to Singpass will be terminated and the login will henceforth be managed by the Parents Gateway app. There is no risk of Singpass credentials being stolen if a user stays logged in.

Ratings and reviews

I don't appreciate that all the information has to be delivered from this app without emails. I really don't have that mood to open the app because it makes me harder to respond/print/read properly all the important announcement with just a 6 inches screen. It's impossible to organize either, especially if there is an attachment inside. Handphones are not suitable to handle PDFs, it's impossible when it comes to having downloaded files but you can't find them in your phone.

202409 update: funny to read other's review "really don't have that mood to open the app"... funny have the same sentiments... hate the app so much, end up missing many updates for the kids... the stoopidity of the usage process: 1. receive email (on laptop) telling you to go to PG 2. find notification that tells you to read the attachment 3. download to phone (difficult to read pdfs pptx on phone!!!) 4. email to self or upload to cloud 5. use laptop to read (hmmm, wasn't i here in step 1???)

Long messages are been trancated. All links and attachments are lost. This error happened only after the lastest update. Everything was working fine before. This type of error is not acceptable! Every updates should be better, not worse!
