QILPI Detector helps to protect the user against verbal violence.
This application automatically detects verbal violence that may be directed at the user, in order to send a real-time geolocated alert to a manager (QILPI Manager or compatible software). It can also receive and send notifications regarding alerts sent by another user connected in the same detection session.
The session manager creates a session and invites QILPI detector users to join by sending them a specific QR code or connection ID.
Once the QILPI detector is connected to a detection session, it runs in the background of the device (low power consumption). When verbal aggression is detected, the QILPI detector triggers the device vibration to inform the wearer that an alert has been sent to the manager. The manager can then instruct any user in the session to assist.
The aim is to prevent the escalating spiral of violence by detecting the first signs of violence, conveyed by a human voice, and organising a team member's calming intervention in real time. In most cases, this controlled interruption of the initial confrontation can diffuse the violence and prevent it from escalating.
Regardless of the language being spoken, QILPI recognises in a human voice the many physical signals that announce an outbreak of rage.

The framework for using the QILPI Detector application:
• The QILPI Detector works in a session monitored by the QILPI Manager application.
• The QILPI Detector continuously analyses the user's immediate sound environment to detect the occurrence of a sound signature specific to verbal violence.
• When the QILPI Detector detects verbal violence, the application automatically sends a real-time, geo-located alert to the QILPI Manager application. No physical action is required.
• Once the alert is sent, the QILPI detector triggers a vibration on the user's smartphone to silently notify the manager that an alert has been received.
• The QILPI detector can receive alerts sent by the QILPI manager of the same session requiring assistance to another QILPI detector user.
• The team member receiving an intervention request on their QILPI detector interface must interactively accept or decline the task. The geolocation of the team member requiring assistance is displayed and highlighted in red on the map of their QILPI detector.
• If the instructed team member accepts the task, they must report back to the manager after assessing the situation by selecting one of the preset messages available on their screen.
- The situation is back to normal.
- The situation requires reinforcement.
• The application works on mobile devices with Android 10 and higher. The microphone must be open. A "pocket" mode is available, which can be activated when the smartphone is placed in a pocket, bag, etc.
• The application must be connected to 4G/5G/Wifi to send real-time alerts to the QILPI Manager.
• The application uses several natural features of your smartphone: microphone, geolocation, multimedia content.
