My notes for the last two years have disappeared. The app ran me through a loop and forced the update. My notes disappeared. In order to register, it wants to trick me into purchasing some 34 dollar subscription the details of which look difficult to discontinue. I just want to get access to what I had stored locally which otherwise is missing. I just want to copy it to save it somewhere else.

Don't trust it. I had to accept the new terms to access my content. I had to do the migration sync to download my content. I downloaded and deleted all of my notes and cleaned the recycle bin. My notes were still there a little while later. I re-sync-ed and they were still there. the txt file I downloaded which you have to press the button for twice added all of my years of notes to one document. Not what I had in mind at all. "Currently stored locally on your device" = buried inaccessibly. Bye.

The only reason I'm going to give this App a 5 star review is because despite the ads, which I'm sure are necessary to keep the lights on, the app still functions as intended from when they migrated to this version from the previous version. Also in respect to that point, the transition from the old version to this version went smoothly and I still have all my previous notes from so many years, including my music which if was lost would've been infuriating. thanks.
