About this app

"Remote for Roku" is an application that lets you control your Roku box. It's a virtual remote but this app have all the features of the real remote.

To use the remote control, you must have your mobile / tablet on the same wifi network as your box. Because the application runs through the wireless network, it is not necessary to be near the box. The app will detect your Roku automatically.

it works, only for very few tasks. if TV isn't already setup for a connection, you're screwed. phone app has to be on the same connection as TV. so no screen mirroring. NO WAY TO ADJUST ANYTHING. Volume, brightness, sound settings... pretty much everything used daily with a regular remote, forget it. It plays Netflix. searching for a title? an advertisement will pop up on your phone every 5 to 8 times u press a key. definitely buying replacement remote tomorrow. but thanks

Works good no problems with my experience with the app. do wish it had a power button to wake or put it to sleep though thats pretty annoying but i can live without it. Just disappointing as it would seem like the obvious first step to any remote. Turning on your device.

It works, no question adout it. Has a nice user interface giving it that Roku Remote look. Con: Ad to click rate is a little high, 10 clicks and an ad pops up. That said, if your like me, and your Roku remote keeps sprouting legs and walking off. Than "Remote for Roku", is a must have on your smartphone.
