RESPIRO challenges you to manage complex clinical cases requiring prolonged artificial ventilatory support. Whether you're a respiratory therapist, respiratory therapy student, physician or medical student, you'll enjoy the challenge of solving cases in a realistic 3D environment. Our library includes a wide range of clinical situations with clients of all ages (adult, pediatric and neonatal). You can also earn hours of OPIQ-recognized continuing education.
CLINICAL PRACTICE
Once you've taken the patient's history, you'll be asked to carry out a complete assessment of the patient's health status. Following your assessment, you will be asked to optimize ventilatory management. You will be asked to choose an intervention from the options offer. You will then be able to assess the patient's clinical condition once your intervention has been done.
PERSONALIZED ASSESSMENT
At the end of each clinical case, you will receive feedback of your interventions to optimize mechanical ventilation. A satisfactory feedback will enable you to move on to the next clinical situation. Go through the case as many times as you like and increase your mechanical ventilatory management skills. Have fun!
Note that in Quebec, a prescription (individual or collective) is required by the respiratory therapist before making any changes to ventilatory parameters.
