Ratings and reviews

Useless. Most times cannot find Core although my PCs find without issues. Or if it finds, then after exiting the app or phone goes to sleep, and it cannot find the Core anymore (why does it even need to find it again after sleep?). Troubleshooting is useless. You must fix these for such an expensive subscription! I see these have been going for years so feel I want my money back. I dont have any extra IT protection apps, just stock Android on Pixel.

Highly intuitive user interface and a great discovery model for music that sits behind it. Only one issue with the remote not being able to connect to my local Roon server running on a local PC which needed a firewall adjustment on the windows machine to resolve. The PC Roon core has crashed a couple of times briefly but on restart and retry just works. I would love to see the addition of the format of a song being played showing on the remote as it can be added on the windows display rather than having to click into the signal path icon just for convenience especially when picking up Qobuz songs but that's a feature request. Love it!

Awful in a word. Font sizes ridiculously small, so difficult to read easily, harder to navigate. Roon recently started to stutter when using my LG V30 as a background music player, now it stutters all the time when on it or in background. Search function doesn't work if Roon is displayed full screen without the phones navigation bars present top and bottom. Sadly it seems Roon has dropped the ball, especially for Android users. They can't seem to get the basics right. My subscription won't be getting renewed for a third year, Roon remote is a pain to use. Totally frustrated.
