About this app

RunCam App, for easy control of your RunCam high definition cameras.
By connecting the camera via WiFi, you can:
* Capture videos/photos with a variety of shooting modes.
* Adjust the camera parameters and preview in real time.
* Play/Download videos/photos.
* Record in landscape and preview in full screen.
* Update firmware through App.
* Set all camera parameters.

--Instructions for use--
-Turn on the camera and open the camera WiFi.
-Use your mobile device to search the camera WiFi (Initial name is RUNCAM2_xxx / RUNCAM3_xxx, the initial password is 1234567890) and connect.
-Open the App, connect the camera and enter into preview.

Ratings and reviews

I like the app, it works fine and looks good. Settings are constantly being added. Would be nice to have stabilisation settings. EDIT: It's disappointing that after three years we still can't change settings like stabilization from the app. EDIT: What I mean by stabilization is Digital IS that RunCam 2 supports. Right now I have to use TV out cable to set Digital... EDIT: Hi I've updated and now I have those options available in the app. Thanks for the great support RunCam! Rating updated.

My Runcam 2 4k camera came with an out of focus lens, piss poor instructions and a so-so app! Thankfully I'm working through the shortfalls and it's now working fairly well, although the microphone needs to have a sensitivity adjustment setting, as it's useless for recording anyone except yourself! A rating of 3.1 is a little generous l think?

My phone is running on Android 8.1. Alot of bugs when running this app in my phone. It always crashed at 1st startup & i still need to disable my mobile data just to get this app to be able to connect to my runcam 3s. If i enable the mobile data while the app is still running, it will crash again. You can try testing on Mi A2 & see the outcome or try testing on other phones that are running on a native Android One
