Works fine, I noticed you have to turn the Bluetooth on to sync, and I've experienced no ads whatsoever, as others have mentioned.. maybe they got rid of them around Xmas? Would love a timer addition, so the light could wake me, but maybe at another time ;) Edit 2018- wouldn't mind an update, its been the same since i installed it and i wouldn't mind seeing a feature where you connect automatically without having to connect through settings first 2020 edit- still no updates so downgraded *'s

It's essentially a useless app. No control over the power-up sound (does this company really think we like hearing this jingle every time we go to the bathroom?), no control over what devices connect to it, and no control over what the device is called over Bluetooth. You can make it brighter and you can make it louder. That's it.

Could definitely use some more features. Being able to customize brightness of colors besides white would be nice. Also, a memory function, so that when you turn on your light switch it would default to the last seeing you had it on, instead of having to change it manually every time you turn on the light. Just more customizability and settings in general would be a big improvement. Especially considering how expensive the bulb is. While the bulb is great quality, the app is not up to par.
