*Common wire (c-wire) not required for most applications. Does not work with baseboard heat and some other systems. Common wire (c-wire) is required for heat only systems, cool only systems and heat pump systems.

Ratings and reviews

I've used this 3 years. It worked fine until recently. It wouldn't connect to my wi-fi anymore. (No wifi changes) Showed "change battery" & "reconnect" errors. I changed batteries, & errors remained. I uninstall/ reinstalled the program 3 times!! After the 3rd time, I progressed through the connect to wi-fi pages far enough to see that there is NO SECURITY for my thermostat when using wifi. The app works now, but I'm wondering if it's worth it w/o added security.

My Sensi account recently dropped from my Google Assistant and now I can no longer control my thermostat from any of my speakers. I attempted to re-link the account but I keep getting an error: {"message":"Missing Authentication Token"}. I made sure I was putting in the correct login info and I'm still receiving the error. Please Fix! Edit: Ok, this is some nonsense. Why does it require your current (forgotten) password when creating a new password? How does that make any sense?

Generally a good app, but there is too frequently a long lag in updating the temperature numbers on the phone after you make changes to the schedule. One feature that is lacking is the ability to set a length for an override; it defaults to the next schedule event
