After having a Motorola G6 with chop chop light activation and moving to another brand . This is the function I missed the most. I tried several other apps but they all stopped working after a few minutes or hours in some cases. This app however needs to be turned on each day but lasts all day with no issues. This for me has been the best I've found.

Does what it says - beautifully. At night when I need a light, all I have to do is shake, shake, shake. Update: when running with the phone in my pocket, the app sometimes turns light on by mistake. Suggested solution, add a mode where if the phone is head-down, the app sensing is disabled (I put the phone head down in my pocket). This can help save some battery too and bring back 5 stars.

I had a different shake to wake up at never had problems, but this one sucks. it either doesn't wake up, or turns off and then turns on again. Grrr, it never turns on when I need it the most.
