About this app
ShopForUandMe has been developed in order to shop fast, accurate and convenient. Forgetting something is next to impossible.
Input assistance makes entering groceries easy. Optionally an image (screenshot/camera) can be attached to a product.
Every new product you add, needs to be assigned to a category (only once). Another one time action is to put all categories in the order you walk the particular supermarket.
As a result you have a perfectly sorted shopping list. Check a product once you have put it in your shopping cart. This way forgetting anything is something of the past.
Next to manually entering your groceries you can use the ‘Something forgotten?’ function. Another way to add products is through the lists of products per category. Both ways offer different ordering options. For instance ordered by how many times you actually buy a particular product.
Sharing a shopping list (including images) can be done through WhatsApp or Mail.
Optionally a label can be added to a shopping list. A convenient label for instance is ‘Weekly groceries’. Another interesting possibility is to put all ingredients of a favorite dish in one shopping list and label it accordingly, for instance ‘Drop Biscuits and Sausage Gravy’.
You can add the contents of a labeled shopping list easily to any other shopping list.
The app comes with 38 pre-installed American, English, Dutch and international supermarkets and 35 pre-installed categories. An unlimited number of supermarkets and categories can be added and or deleted.

New feature: insight on the full history (limited to the number of months you save shopping lists) of the purchase of any particular product.
Upon closing your shoppinglist, the app wil check if you checked off your shopping items in a different category order than depicted in the list.
If a difference is determined, the app will ask you if you want to make that different category order permanent.
