Having nothing but trouble. All I wanted was to use a recipe from a website that I couldn't find directly on my Google Home Hub... Initially setup was easy once I got the hang of it, but I'm now trying to use the recipe, and the functionality between the app and the Hub is woeful - believe it or not, sometimes you actually need more than 10 seconds to do a step!! This is the amount of time I get without responding before it just disconnects and I have to start all over again. Really frustrating

I am frustrated with this behavior as well! Google please allow developers to control the screen timeout on Home/Nest devices!

Responded to my previous review and then deleted it. Devs should not be able to delete negative reviews. My issue was with the scanning ability, and the dev's response asked for an example of with it struggled. The app struggled with fractions. The bigger issue was with the ability to interpret the text as a recipe correctly. Specifically in this case, the printed list of ingredients was in 2 columns in the recipe, and the app jumbled ingredients together in an incoherent mess.

Thanks for the feedback! Note I cannot alter reviews, not sure what you’re seeing. Fractions are definitely an issue because they’re usually small. The columns issue can be solved by taking a pic of each column separately one after the other. Google only allows 350 characters here, please email help@souschef.recipes for further assistance, thanks!

This is a pretty awesome app. Literally the only reason I bought the nest hub was for cooking. It's in my kitchen. My daughter and i love to cook and bake. We have a million recipes on Pinterest and some family recipes in an old beat up cookbook. After purchasing the hub i realized it didn't have a browser. No way to access my Pinterest recipes. Or add my own. This program is perfect! I can add recipes using the website feature and voila, connected. Thank you so much! I wish I could donate!
