You can connect the Tactacam 4.0 to your Android device with the app, after establishing the connection, you can see live what your camera sees, start or stop recording, view your videos, and download videos to your device for sharing.

How to Connect:

I bought the Tactacam FTS package and it works well for recording through my scope. The app unfortunately freezes every time I try to do anything other than look at the live video feed. I contacted the mfr. and was instructed to click "Forget" on the Tactacam network and then reconnect. It worked only once and then reverted to the same freeze-up behavior. I tried it on 2 different model LG phones, and both freeze. I like the product itself, but without the app working I am not able to access the full capabilities.

Love the camera. Hate the app. In fact I would most likely purchase more Tactacam cameras and accessories if the App worked. Unfortunately as of right now I can't view anything I record in the field, which is vital. Because the App is S%!t, I have to wait until I can load my sd card onto my computer. Button line fix the app or I'm going back to my GoPro!!

Yawl really need to put some work into these apps or project, didn't mind paying way to much for my 5.0 + FTS $400 if it would WORK + busted in da head by scopes FTS, if the camera would have a functioning app to utilize all the camera functions + Why wouldn't you make the camera compatible with all UHD SD cards "or" make it perfectly clear "it wont work properly" with other SD cards, buy only tactacam cards, I've purchased three UHD 1+3 not one is recognized by camera or app, 1 of 1 records🤬
