Awful experience! Check my email for their confirmation email, nothing. Write to their support, general email back. THEN I get their confirmation email! Sign in, as I wanted to try the basic before purchasing. I click on the 1st lesson and all that happens is pop ups to purchase the premium! Yet before downloading it said you can try for max 10 minutes a day without purchasing? After DAYS just to get in and still no way to take even one of their "free" 10 minute lessons they can pay me!

It's an excellent practice tool. There were some recent improvements done so that now it can follow and remember previous parts of a conversation better, it will tell you when it doesn’t understand you in most cases, so it's a lot like talking to somebody in a rather formal context. It's shortfall is that it is unrealistically formal - I don't think we learned foreign languages just for business, right? Expanding upon the character section could add different general styles of conversation.

I downloaded and signed up for 2 years in order to perfect my pronunciation of Vietnamese. in lesson 1 (xin chào), the pronunciation of "xin" is different on the intro page (~ chin) and the following page (~sin or ~zin)...THIS IS A BAD START. Voice is too fast (unadjustable on android?) to be able to catch the nuances of the Vietnamese language (multiple tones). Explanations are non existent for what you did wrong pronunciation wise (too high, too low, wrong tone, etc). Too many issues to list.
