Ratings and reviews

I've bought a whole lot off this site - if you check the sellers yourself for ratings, it almost always goes well (when there are issues, it's almost always been due to one of the cheaper shipping companies), and the extra fees from Vinted are quite low. Search function works well, too, and is pretty comprehensive compared to most sites' filter options. Have also gotten refunds from Vinted for items lost in shipping very easily. Overall completely satisfied :)

While the app is great for buying items, their system to recognize duplicate listings clearly needs improvement. It is extremely frustrating to have them accuse you of posting duplicate listings and warning you might have your account blocked if you do it again when you did not post the same photo on different listings. My recommendation is to make sure to use different backgrounds for similar items, so hopefully their algorithm will not be tricked into thinking it's the same item twice.

The app is generally good. However, having now bought a decent amount of various clothing items, I have experienced too many issues with the sellers advertising wrong sizing or describing the items in a better condition than it is. I have now lost money for postage back to sellers who shipped items that were dirty, smelly, and generally not in the condition they were advertising it. Then you are left covering the return costs but still lose out in the end as Vinted does not step in to help.
