Ratings and reviews

Randomly switches to French. Search feature isn't reliable as it still shows items that aren't relevant. Also, when you click on photos of an item, 9 times out of 10 it initially shows a blank screen. Whenever I list an item and start typing a description, it kicks me back out to the category screen every couple of words which is really annoying. The returns procedure is non existent but I still prefer it to other preloved sites for buying & selling. Just needs tweaking please!

The app is generally good. However, having now bought a decent amount of various clothing items, I have experienced too many issues with the sellers advertising wrong sizing or describing the items in a better condition than it is. I have now lost money for postage back to sellers who shipped items that were dirty, smelly, and generally not in the condition they were advertising it. Then you are left covering the return costs but still lose out in the end as Vinted does not step in to help.

I do love Vinted but there are a lot of flaws. The main one being that if you receive an item that is damaged you have to pay to return it which in most cases is more than the actual item. This needs to be changed to the seller paying return postage as this will deter them sending damaged or significantly not as described items. If it gets damaged in transit then it's still takes ages to get sorted even though you pay a fee for postage compensation which. Takes ages to speak to anyone!
