The Accessibility Service is required to allow the volume panel to show when you click your volume buttons.
The service is not used for anything else and does not watch or collect data.
On some devices, when granting the Accessibility Service, a popup may show that the app can read text you type, including private information. Volume Styles does not read any of this information and does not monitor the text you type. The volume buttons are the only buttons/keys that the Accessibility Service monitors to show the custom volume panel.
Note:
The app requires permission to run the service in the background.
Some phones kill the background service. Those users need to follow the steps mentioned in the app.

Ratings and reviews

First 3 seconds and Ads pop up that disallow functionality. I downloaded the app hoping to be able to control volume with a widget slider that works in a pinch. you have to start the app to use it and it begins with an 8 second ad you cant swipe out of. not user friendly

I've had Volume Control for three minutes and the creators are already asking me for a five-star rating. But, during the three minutes, I've had an influx of an unusual amount of advertising. Of course I cannot objectively give them a five-star rating, under these circumstances. And, I NEVER buy the premium version of an app, unless I'm completely satisfied with the normal, free version. (I have been completely satisfied, several times, although I doubt it, here. Perhaps I'll be surprised.)

Failure! I tried to make it to look like my iOS 27 look but when I change the volume using your design, it won't work. And that happens to other Volume Styles apps. So, 1 star.
