I had to pay to see the app, no free trial option was offered when I wanted to check it out. Fishing spots are all Marinas, which don't allow fishing and they miss dozens of local spots I know of, I was going to use this when I travel. It does have very detailed weather, hence the name Windy, but very lacking on fishing info. I will be canceling after my 4 weeks are up, I might try to get a refund if possible. Not for me.

Dont get this if you hate intrusive popups, opened the app for the first time and I had a full screen ad for their pro version. Closed the ad, then another took it's place immediately. And another. And more after that. I didnt even get to the forecast before I got annoyed, in the span of maybe 45 seconds. No means no. Pretty sure most of the 5 stars are from the creator trying to get commission

It's a come-on for a paid subscription. It leads you through a questionnaire ostensibly to "customize" it. Then it tells you a price. Probably a "customized" price. I paid with my time so you don't have to. This review is gratis. Edit: I wasn't annoyed by the questions. I was annoyed by the solicitation AFTER answering instead of UP FRONT. Also, free option was not apparent. Maybe I'm dumb. Or maybe it's no accident. No patience for dark patterns. We're done.
