Windy.app - wind, waves and weather forecast app for surfers, kitesurfers, windsurfers, sailors, fishermen and other wind sports.

The app has been working great for me, but recently I'm getting notifications while I"m not using the app about nonsense that has to do with the app instead of anything to do with the weather. I don't want "CHECK OUT THIS NEW FEATURE!" notifications, but there isn't a way to turn them off. If I turn them off from the android side then I don't get wind alerts. Having the info about a new feature showing up when I open the app is fine, but notifications when I'm not using it? Not cool.

I was double charge for the annual subscription. i paid for the annual subscription up front and bypassed the free trial for a discounted amount. But then after the trial period, they charged me AGAIN for the full amount. Update: i contracted customer support and they were quick to refund the second subscription. However, be warned because of the sloppy developers of this app, somehow they allow you to do multiple subscriptions on the same account.

this is one of the most useful apps I have found for checking on the weather. when I tried the pro version it was incredibly customizable and I lived being able to compare the different models. I work at a garden center and think it will be very useful in helping me decide when we need to cover the plants for first and how much watering we will be needing to do. also living in an area with hurricanes, this will be incredibly helpful when the season hits!
