The Yandex Start app has everything you need on one screen. Make any page your home page. Easy search, weather, and traffic right on your home page, plus translations of webpages, images, and videos online.

Choose your home page: Pick any page to start your day with online. It could be, for example, ya.ru — the Yandex Home Page — or your own site.

Avoid unwanted calls. Voice assistant Alice will set up a caller ID and get rid of unwanted conversations. Just say, “Alice, turn on the caller ID.”

Ratings and reviews

Not bad, but not really top. Of the shortcomings - filtering search results, not displaying some sites, services such as maps periodically freeze. One of the most is the Protect Active Protection System. After embedding URL links in the application, a warning from Protect periodically appears instead of the interface. Click "Ignore", the site will reboot and protect does not allow access again. There is no way to disable Protect in this application.

I have been using this app for 2 years now. The only reason I use it because of its lens to search and the ability to download any picture to high quality! Other browsers don't have that! I like to collect anime illustration, etc, but I require quality this Yendex nails it by providing me the art quality I need!

I use yandex when I want real search results without all the targeted censored and manipulated or curated b.s. I use it more and more and it's gotten very easy to use and has all the extras if you want them.
