It is a copy of the redbooks, but, despite logging into the nhs app none of the information is copied over from records. Weights are recorded at gp and put in the paper book, yet the records still have to be manually entered which is a shame. It is impossible to read my GPs writing so would be nice if the information uploaded to their patient record transfered across.

As with another review here, I found it impossible to verify ID on nhs online. Got through sending ID photo but it then wouldn't take my video verification. The file type of mp4 is apparently correct, but I don't know what their file size limit is as not described in their FAQs but I would have thought a 1-2 seconds long video at 3MB should be fine. Perhaps the app developer should work with nhs to make this more user friendly. I've uninstalled app and just using the actual/physical red book.

Application is good, but babies who were not born in the United Kingdom or kids who are older can not be linked to NHS records out of london. I think access should be linked by an option to request it online. Update: I had a baby born in england, my wife had registered on eredbook before birth, child was not linked automatically as stated on information given and neither of health visitor/midwife know about eredbook.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. We limit the creation of child records to under 19 as this is considered to be the healthy child pathway end by NHS. We do not limit the age of children who can have connected records (and therefore NHS data). At the moment, only Health visitors and midwives can connect records. Health visitors see children to age 5.
