What is Health screening?
It is a free application that uses official and safe data to inform people about possible signs of the severity of their illness and the best course of action if their symptoms worsen or remain stable.
How does screening work?
When entering the application, the user chooses the disease already diagnosed by a healthcare professional or that he or she understands to have contracted and, using simple and direct questions, such as “if you have a fever” or “stomach pain”, they You are informed whether you have a classic (common) or serious symptom. Then, TrIAna, the artificial intelligence that guides the platform, developed based on the flowcharts of the country's main health institutions, indicates how to proceed.
At the end of the questionnaire, a summary of the answers highlighted is presented – a summary for personal control, which can be presented to the doctor during face-to-face consultation.
What moves us?
Our ideal is to promote free, broad access to clear, safe and quality information about Health. We also reinforce the importance of self-care.
With the app we want people to be able to identify whether their signs and symptoms are serious so that they are able to seek medical and health care at the most appropriate time and the most appropriate health institution.
What has currently happened, especially in relation to dengue, is that a large part of the population infected by the virus has only sought hospitals when their health condition is already very serious.
IMPORTANT: Health screening is not telemedicine. It does not replace an in-person medical consultation or the evaluation of other healthcare professionals.
health. It does not provide medical procedures, does not prescribe medications and discourages self-medication. It even recommends that a doctor be consulted as a priority and whenever doubts arise.
What the self-assessment platform aims to is to value and promote self-care, in addition to reinforcing attention to one's own health and that of their family members. Within this principle, the user becomes primarily responsible for the data presented.
