This is a great app, when it works. But I highly suggest you make regular backups, if you're going to risk it. Since the latest update, I've had constant syncing issues, and now I've randomly started getting an error that my data couldn't be verified. And now my data has disappeared from the web app. I managed to restore it from a backup, but even still, nothing syncs.

The app did an update and logged me out. To log back in it forces a two factor authentication. At first I could get the code, but when the app would take me to an authentication page it timed out. Now, I can't get the authentication code. I either get an error message or no email. These issues have been going on for a week. No help from customer service. I would move on, but I want access to my notes. A decade with Evernote and zero issues. A few months with Notesnook and I lost my information.

While still not perfect, Notesnook has improved massively since my days of being an early adopter/subscriber. It generally does a really good job of preserving formatting of pasted content, but non-standard pasted content can pose challenges reformatting. Tags support & syncs work well. My biggest issue at the moment is searches being limited to ONE keyword instead of a space-delimited list of keywords or double-quoted keyword phrases. There's also no filter by notes with links/files and no API.
