Please also note that all our upcoming apps, will require the Pearl to have minimum firmware v1.8

I tried on three different android devices. I can't get past the second "next" screen. it keeps crashing.

Instructions are poorly written and confusing. Pearl app refuses to connect when this Updater is running, so scale is left stuck in Update mode. No advice an how to get out of this. And how do we update to .009? The app info only mentions .008. Note to Acaia: Firmware is important -- please do better in your treatment of it.

Galaxy S21, able to pair Pearl via Bluetooth but the app doesn't recognize the connection and won't 'scan' or 'refresh' while the scale is in Update mode. Cannot update firmware without the app recognizing the connection.
