About this game

Solar 2 is an open-world, sandbox game set in an infinite abstract universe. Play constructively: grow your system, nurture life on your planets and attack enemy life in huge space battles. Play destructively: crash into other objects and cause chaos, use your orbiting objects like wrecking balls, steal planets from other systems.

I thought I'd update my review. For 3 USD or however much it cost, it was worth buying it many years ago. I'd download it again to play it every few years when I remember it. The ui isn't intrusive, no ads to worry about, just a sweet little game. You start as an asteroid and grow to planet, star, and ultimately a black hole. You can build your own solar system as you like, and save it to use later whenever you want. Looks very pretty for how old it is. A fantastic purchase on my end.

Love this game, but...it is much better on PC. I cannot even imagine playing this on anything smaller than a tablet. I also cannot figure out how to get the Flying Blind achievement on Android because I can't figure out how turn off the interface. It is fun and the missions and achievements are challenging as heck. It is mindless but not brainless.

It would be a great game, but it got boring fast. The concept is great, and the game looks great, but it's far too tedious to create what you want. Even after you complete the game, it takes hours to do anything. Most of the extra options you get are purely cosmetic. There are many things I can think of doing in this game, but I dont want to spend hours on it. Why not make options to add planets and stars to your system? Or an option to increase ONLY your ships? Missed opportunities, I guess
