To whom it may concern: 1) Unlike a lot of the other voice recording apps, this one will use your earbuds speakers for the recording. A lot of other voice recording apps would only use my phones microphone, and there was no way to change it to my earbud. This app naturally uses my earbuds microphone, and I love it. 2) This app will record while you use other apps like Spotify, for example, so if you wanted to say sing along to a song and check how terrible/great your own singing is, you can.

Been using it for years and it does the trick. Optimal solution for me. Local recording (ie private), free and also simple and effective for note taking and even meeting audio capture (don't expect high quality sound from your phones microphone, but maybe you'll get lucky) Secret audio recordings.. huh? Yea? I'll be honest I've used it for that. Hit record, put in pocket or on the table, and save the conversation. It wasn't for nefarious purposes, come on now. Thanks to those who made this app!

Very good recorder. I have used it to record live music sessions/rehearsals, it is very easy to set up with preferred file format, and volume adjustment. Highly recommended for musicians who want to push the button and then forget it. Not bad for carrying into concerts in your pocket. Edit 1/24/14. I wear hearing aids, and I can use a metronome app as a click track, hearing it thru hearing aids via bluetooth - and record a song to the click without it being on the recording. ☆☆☆☆☆
