Twenty Nine or 29 card game is one of a group of South Asian trick-taking games in which the Jack and the Nine are the highest cards in every suit. It is almost certain that they are descended from the European family of Jass games, which originated in the Netherlands. Probably they were brought to the Indian subcontinent by Dutch traders.

29 is a very addictive strategy card game.

The objective of the game is to be the first team to reach 6 points.

29 card game is usually played by four players in fixed partnerships, partners facing each other. 32 cards from a standard 52-card pack are used for play. There are eight cards in each of the usual French suits: Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs and spades. In 29 card game the cards in every suit rank from high to low: J-9-A-10-K-Q-8-7.

The player need to bid and set a target for themselves and then achieve it. The player who wins the bid get to set the trump suit. Play is typically counter-clockwise; the player to the right of the dealer plays to the first trick. Players must follow suit if they have a card of the suit led, otherwise they must play a trump if possible.
The winner of each trick leads to the next. After the hand has been played, a score is taken based on the point values of the cards in the tricks each player has managed to capture. The aim of the game is to win tricks containing valuable cards.

The values of the cards are:

Jacks = 3 points each
Nines = 2 points each
Aces = 1 point each
Tens = 1 point each
Other cards = (K, Q, 8, 7) no points

Absolute worst after upgrading to the latest version. It was slowly going downhill, but now outright unplayable. 9-10 consecutive bad hand, no way to play Trump because opponent have majority of them. Teammate never using Joker 1st, using Trump on my winning set. The 1st time is the one player/I will always win, and after that no way to bid because you get the shittest card nonstop. The good thing is that AD is really not that consistent. Only occurs after 4-5 games.

There is a glitch in this game now, which the developers should take a note of. I have a screen shot of the game where my partner had won the bet and had fixed the Trump. On the very first hand of that game, he himself got the Trump open and had no single Trump. This cannot be possible in this game. One who fixes the Trump, has to have at least one Trump with him if not more.

The Worst card game i ever played. Specially The partner playing the game like a child. If possible i should give it negative star. I requesting people Don't waste your time at this worst game
